Status: **8D.0 and 8D.1 validated by user sign-off on 2026-09-05.** Documentation/source audit, builds and target runtime samples are recorded. The M1 browser contract below was established during baseline planning; the subsequent [8D.3 live cutover record](phase8d3_implementation.md) now documents implemented/host-tested/build-verified authentication, with target/browser acceptance pending. Baseline measurements and source-behavior descriptions here remain historical, not measurements of the live cutover.
